Classroom Rules and Expectations
You are expected to work hard and to show respect for your classmates and their property, teachers and staff members, and the classroom itself.
Be respectful when the teacher is instructing or if another classmate is speaking.
Raise your hand if you would like to contribute to our class discussion or if you need to leave your seat.
Be prepared for class.
No food, gum, or candy in class.
Only water is allowed in the classroom.
Cell phones must be turned off and in your lockers.
Be the best person you can be! Do not let anything get in your way of your potential. If you are willing to work hard and have a positive attitude, you are going to do very well in class this year.
To maintain a positive and productive learning environment, rules will be consistently enforced and appropriate consequences will be given if needed. This is to ensure that each student is receiving the education that they deserve. Consequences may include verbal warnings, phone calls home, after school/lunch detentions, office visit, etc. (As stated in the handbook)
If you are absent it is your responsibility to: •Make up the work you missed (worksheets, notes from a friend, tests/assignments) •Be sure to pass in your make up work to me •You will receive extended time on the work you missed based on how many days you were absent
